One thread would suffice.
I don't know anyone that has actually tested for safe limits on a 3400. There's also a LOT more to thian saying "You can run a 160 HP shot", You probably can, but not without some other supporting parts, like larger/extra injectors, though a fogger system would negate any need for larger injectors, you could tune the fuel side to be fat, to be in a safe zone.
Ignition timing will need to be taken into account. Most engine builders agree that at 50 HP shot 2 degrees of timing should be pulled out, and for every 50 HP shot from there on up an additional 2 degrees, to a maximum of about 10 to 15 degrees retard, depending on who you ask.
I'm not really going to be testing any limits, but I just bought part of an NOS dry system today that I will probably use on my '98 Malibu to have some fun with up to about 45 HP shot, until I get my other engine and tranny ready to swap in.
*EDIT*
Here's a pic of it. Originally for a Mustang, but will work for the 'Bu.
Then when I'm done with it on the 'Bu, I'll use one of the solenoids for a purge on the Jimmy, and then maybe an IC sprayer.

Q. Are there any dangers or things to stay away from while using nitrous?
A. Of course, NX recommends that no more than an additional 20 horsepower per cylinder be used on a stock engine, with a stock fuel pump. Always be sure you are using clean, uncontaminated nitrous. Also, be sure you have the highest octane fuel available, I.E. 93 octane premium for, stock compression, street cars and the highest motor octane fuel available for competition type vehicles.
this was taken from the nitrous express website... so they dont recomend more than 20 horse per cylinder... so a v6= a recomended maximum of 120,, and in my humble oppinion, thats pushing it94 Grand Prix
3400- NX 75 shot, Cammotion cam, S&S headers, and a few more toys
