I have run $1 AC Delco plugs for years with no problems. I guess the more important question should be, if $1 plugs run fine, why would you waste money on more expensive ones?
Back to the original request, why are you wanting colder plugs?'99 Z-28 - Weekend Driver

I use denso iridium IT20's. Those are one heat range colder... stock is an IT22. That's just for denso iridiums. Other kinds/brands I don't know. It can be hard to find sometimes. Almost everyone has an application guide that tells you what plugs to use for stock range on your car, but they never tell you what is hotter/colder. Best bet is to find the plug style/type you like and get a part number then call up the manufacturer and ask them what is colder. Thats what I had to do.
You can also try here. http://www.clubplug.net/ They carry just about everything and they should be able to tell you more technical detail and give heat ranges if you call or email them.'97 Grand Prix GT 3800 (sold)
