what are people runnign for cams in the non roller motors and how do you like them. how is idle and power increase.

Mechanical roller, custom from Crower. 254/246@.05" .62/.60" lift, 114 separation. idle is fine (At 1000 rpm), big power increase over my mechanical flat tappet cam.

I got the roller mechanical lifters from Crane, but from what some people are saying, they no longer offer them. They didn't have any when I ordered mine, but they still made them up for me. they are basically stock lifters, with a custom link bar.

i thought you said one side was for a SBC and the other side was for a 3800 due to the oiling.Andy

yep, that's correct, but with a custom size link bar. The only custom part is the link bar.

Custom cam as I mentioned. Crower did it for me. I know schneider cams also has done roller cams for the 3.1.
