Depends on the year of your 3100...

If you have a 94-99 3100, then it will help. If 00+ 3100, then you already have a 3400 plenum basically.

Note though, that in order to add the 3400 plenum, you also have to add the 3400 lower manifold. If you have an order 3100 with the stamped rockers, then you will also have to clearance the lower manifold runners to clear the stamped rockers.
