I HAVE A 1993 CAVALIER 3.1 THAT I RACE ON A DIRT TRACK ON FRIDAY NIGHTS. I PORTED THE HEADS, AM RUNNING THE 3100 EXHAUST MANIFOLDS, AND CROSS OVER AND HAVE A ARI STAGE 3 CAM IN IT, BUT I NEED TO FIND A PROM OR A COMPANY THAT CAN BRUN ME A PROM TO RUN WITH THIS CAM, AND ALSO I HAVE A SET OF ACCEL 24 LB-HR INJECTORS THAT WILL WORK WITH THIS ALSO. THE INJECTORS FIRE TOO MUCH FUEL(CAM2) AT IDLE AND IT RUNS VERY RICH, BUT GREAT AT WIDE OPEN THROTTLE, SO FOR NOW I HAVE LEFT THEM OUT AND PUT THE STOCK INJECTORS BACK IN. THIS MOTOR RUNS VERY STRONG FOR A 3.1 VIN T MOTOR, BUT I THINK IT HAS ALOT MORE POTENTIAL WITH THE RIGHT PROM. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHO STILL BURNS PROMS FOR THESE VEHICLES. HYPERTECH TOLD ME THAT THEY DONT DO IT ANY MORE. ALL THEY HAVE IS THE STREET PROM, NOT REALLY MADE TO WORK WITH A CAM OR BIGGER INJECTORS. PLEASE HELP, RACE SEASON IS APPROACHING FAST.....

ive been reading about burning proms. what exactly do i need. a binary editor progran, and prom burner, and a uv d-erase prom eraser. i figured if i spent the money to buy the eqiupment, then i will have the car to play around with, and try different settings. if i dont get somthing going fast i am gonna be in trouble.

If you want to make a trip to warsaw indiana, I can tune it for you. I doubt very much that you need 24# injectors though. I would check your injector load time before using larger injectors. There is a dyno 15-20 miles down the road from me as well if you want to do dyno tuning. Otherwise, learning to tune yourself would be a good option but it takes time to learn how to do it right.Ben

well i aquired the 24 lb-hr injectors and would like to use them if possible, if i were to buy them thed probably be more like 19 or so. i will keep the road trip in mind, thanks for the offer. i might still try doing it myself. im still up in the air though.
