Hey guys, I am having a spare 3400 TB bored out to 62mm, and I was thinking it would probly be easier to find a GM with a 62mm TB and just swap the butterfly over, than to make a new one. Anyone know of a vehicle that uses a 62mm stock?

the lt1 had the twin butterfly's as well as the tpi engines and i don't know if i've ever seen anything even as big as that.

dont waste your time with the 3800, I think it is 62mm however its very different from the 60* TBs. The MAF is intergrated on the 3800 TB

ive been watching this thread and waiting for someone to say that, i thought maybe i was going crazy cuz you guys kept talking about the butterfly and didn't seem to notice

Do a search on eBay for 62mm Throttle... There were 4-5 different vehicles with them just on the first page, although none of them come to mind right now...-Brad-

Since when did RSM start sleeving their TB's? Mine isn't sleeved. It's one of their earlier 61mm units though. I haven't had a chance to look at one of the 62's up close but I don't remember hearing anything about sleeving them?'97 Grand Prix GT 3800 (sold)
