Like I said, a Fiero will hook better than just about any other RWD car...
FieroX was cutting 1.5x sixties on DR's when his engine was supercharged.

What kind of poly mounts were you using?
Oh yeah... Cavs mount the engine differently than Fieros so you probably can't use WCF's poly mounts... you wouldn't tear those...
    Current:
\'87 Fiero GT: 12.86@106 - too dam many valves; ran 12.94 @ 112 on new engine, then broke a CV joint
\'88 Fiero Formula: slow and attention getting; LZ8 followed by LLT power forthcoming
\'88 BMW 325iX: The penultimate driving machine awaiting a heart transplant

    Gone, mostly forgotten:
\'90 Pontiac 6000 SE AWD: slow but invisible

Not sure when the transition year was... could have been 91 or 92 even.

          Well, problems with a Miata...

I've seen the install of a 3400 and it looks a little to tight (pan hangs below the suspension). It also looks tight on the exhaust in places and the biggest issue... it's a vert. I want to stay with a coupe, no roadsters. Miatas are also a little small for people 6'+.

Oh, and if it's pre-82' I can avoid emissions testing.
