  • TOG headers bolt up to 3500 heads !!!

Just to let everyone know I recieved my shipment of parts today, I was a little nervous that my TOG headers would not bolt up to the 3500 heads due to some "design changes. To my surprise they bolted up just fine to the 3500 heads. It does appear however that the 3500 exhaust ports are a little bigger than the 3400 exhaust ports. The ports on the TOG headers are fully open and should flow quite nicely.

I will try to get some pictures posted up later tonight.

Great news I should be able to tell from pics as well if I can flow a head with the header on there as well.

Here are the pics as promised

TOG front header on 3500 head (yes, I know it is on the rear cylinder head, I was in a hurry)

      Tog Headers / 3500 gasket

3500 manifolds, notice there is no cross over

Not going to be able to bolt those on my flowbench cause the deck surface on the test plenum is in the way for that one tube. Oh well

So, let me know when a good time for you is to flowtest some stuff and get some cc measurements.

Yes it bolts up.... But are the ports lined up properly with your headers?

They have shifted the ports a few mm over in relation to the bolt holes compared to the 3400.

I would just double check that the ports are lined up properly with the headers. You might be alright. Just would double check it.

Yeah the ports on the headers seem to match up with the ports on the 3500 heads with pretty much no obstruction that I could see. In the pic above with the header and gasket, that is the 3500 gasket on the TOG header.

As long as its large enough at the header to keep them uncovered. You'll be fine.

Yeah, the ports on the TOG headers are round compared to the D shaped exhaust ports and they are also a little bit bigger, so as long as they didn't move the exhaust ports very much (if at all), then they should be fine.

Also in the first pic the only way we know it's on the rear cylinder head is because you still have the studs for mounting the ignition module on it. There isn't any difference between the front and rear.
