  • 3500 top end

I got a deal that I couldn't pass up on a lot of parts.

The parts that I got consist of the following:

    (2) sets of 3500 heads (complete)
    (2) 3500 Lower intake manifolds
    (1) 3500 upper intake manifold
    (2) 3500 cams
    (1) 3500 electronic TB
    (1) set of 3500 exhaust manifolds

    (1) Ecotec Head (complete with cams, valve cover, intake manfold & throttle body)

I am hoping to have the 3500 heads and intake manifolds on by spring / mid summer then of course dynoed.

I was planning on using TOG headers, however it was brought to my attention that they may not bolt up to the 3500 heads. If an adaper plate can not be made to use the TOG headers with the ports lined up fairly well, then I will have to use stock exhaust manifolds, but if that is the case I will have them ported as much as possible.

I will be letting Ben flow the 3500 head so he can report his findings to everyone. My hope is that they flow alot better than stock 3400 heads. Sending a stock 3400 cam in along with a 3500 cam to be spec'ed and profiled is also in the realm of possibilities.

I wish I could move faster on this project, but with school being my # 1 priority right now I am left with little spare time.

No, I will not be using the electric TB. It was just included with the parts that I got.
