It is hard to compare these various valve springs. Can someone put a table together so that we can compare apples to apples for LS1, LS2, LS4, LS6, LS? Here is an example:

      Crane 99838 Dual Springs

Seat pressure at installed height: 110# @ 1.688
      Open pressure and height: 320# @ 1.208
      Coil bind: .950
      Average spring rate: 438#/in

        LS 1 2 4 are the same
        LS6 is more
LS7 even more with a different taller install height

I thought the LS2 and 6 were the same spring. gmpd doesn't list the old LS6 part number any more (green springs). They sell the yellow one which I had tested.

Which LS? springs can handle 6XXX RPM (Head PnP, Mild Cam)?
              What retainers would you get?

              This is for a Gen2 60\/6.

I would, but I can't find it. Also, I plan to goto a different cam (more lope).
