  • MMS.com stage 1 heads+cam gains???

Hey guys, im just asking this to anyone who would have a good idea.

Im wondering what kind of gains i can expect with the stage 1 heads and cam from milzy motor sports???

(I would gasket match the lower, and upper intake, and exaust manifolds to go along with this as well, and get the DHP tuner to tune the PCM).....with all of this in mind how much could i hope to gain HP and TQ wise???? In your opinions is it worth the time and money???

No idea as I don't have the full cam specs I asked for nor any flow sheets, cc info, or minimum port area to put into dynomation to simulate it. Even then it needs headers to really use the wave action on the exhaust side but I can get a good idea overall of how well it works.

Seeing as how were all interested, i would really like to know if i would gain less, than using this set of heads and the cam+ tuning on the older design SFI 3100???

Sappy, as soon as you can find out these specs its going to be greatly appretiated once you can share this with us

I doubt I will get the info on his heads. I will have all of the info on my port work obviously:P Ill share the complete cam specs though if he ever gets them to me.

No one has done a before and after dyno of just the stage 1 cam or the cam and head combo yet. From the cam specs that I've seen so far, the typical gains from ported heads, and the kind of ET's the cam/head guys have got at the track... I would say at least a 30whp gain would be a good guess. Possibly more.

Don't bother doing any matching work on the exhaust mani's though. They're so restrictive it won't make any difference. You'll need headers to get the most out of the package. A bigger throttle body with a CAI wouldn't hurt either.
