  • Will these work?

Just wondering if Crane Gold race rockers from a 4.3L 90* v6 could work with the gen 2 aluminum heads or even gen 3 aluminum heads(of course with a stud conversion cause these come with 3/8"). Thanks for looking.

Heres the exact info on these rockers http://www.cranecams.com/?show=brows...umber=10758-16. From the description it seems like they should work fine other than needing possibly some clearencing, and the stud conversion.

Yea they will work. No clearancing is required on Gen I or Gen II. Gen III will require intake grinding.

I am guessing you are getting these rockers used? Because if you are buying new I would suggest the COMP Pro Magnums because they have a much smaller back section and I am willing to bet they will not require any clearancing on Gen III

Yea I was looking at both sets and I have found a set of each used. I was just looking into getting the gold race because they have the full roller fulcrum.
