Specifically for a 1997 CS, does this pump fit properly, or is there another alternate fuel pump that needs to be used to supply additional fuel above and beyond the stocker? Thanks.

I'm trying to remember if its a fuel Sending unit in that year of tank (the big integrated plastic setup) If so you'll have to do some mods. The most pain in the ass is to get the tube off the stocker pump. Most guys that I do these type of swaps on for, we also cut the bottom of the fuel sender setup to help aid in fuel supply due to the fuel only gets sucked into the body of the sender where the pump then takes fuel from which under boosted applications can sometimes lead to fuel starvation.
I used to have pics at one point of when I did my buddies 01 cavalier fuel sender with a whinebro.Colin

OK. Yeah, I am probably at or past the point where this pump is gonna be able to feed the engine properly, I would think. I don't know how far the stocker will go, but I would think that to get it to feed 270HP is an unrealistic goal.\"NASCAR is an integral part of my life. A part of me died when Dale Earnhardt died.\"

www.Racetronix.com sells a Walbro pump modified with dual outlets, intended for a direct replacement for the fuel bucket style fuel pumps. It's more expensive, but you don't cut the bucket and don't have too worry about going below 1/4th a tank.
