Is there enough room to mount a m90 in the factory a/c location? I want to go supercharged and have access to a m90 and a m112 the m112 is too big for a 3.1 and the m90 is cheaper (125$) and i dont want a big blower sticking out the hatch of my fiero, so Im hoping the m90 will fit in the stock a/c location so I can intercool it will it fit there?

Actually, I thought about letting my best friend drive the GTP, then lining up the 3400 Cav next to it. And seeing what would happen. Granted the J has quite a traction problem through 1st gear now with the 3400 instead of the 2.297 Cavalier RS

Hey, I all for "jamming, cramming, and ramming" ANY supercharger off ANYTHING that we could fit under the stock hood and get to work inexpenively. If i was rich, i would probably waste 10 milllion on EVERYBODYS ride on this forum to supercharge, just to "stick-it" to the industry for chargeing waaaayy to much for-em. I belive every American has a God-given right to own at least one vechicle in their life that goes REALLY fast and wastes gas. If I could help spread the love, I would, trust me.Don\'t hate me because I\'m horny.

I can understand the desire to jam a roots blower under the hood, mainly due to how cheap the blower can be had for. Most people however forget all that is reqired to get it to work quickly offsets the cost of other forms of boost. Personally Im going with a turbo, you can get used turbo's off ebay farily cheaply and rebuilding doesnt cost too much. The trick is making the crossover, downpipe and intake piping. If you have a w-body much of this has been figured out, if not it just takes some time with a pipe bender and a welder.
Not to metion the much improved effenicy of a turbo over a supercharger.

Why be so one side or the other? Myself? I prefer CFI BABY!!!!! What is CFI? Compound Forced Induction. Both supercharged and turbo'd. Best of both worlds with the problems of neitherTuning a car is full of compromises. You must decide if you are willing to give up either reliability, performance, or a whole load of cash. Also remember that repairs will seem to come up much more often as you strive for even more performance
