Polish the valves or get the SI valves, do a 3 angle grind, LS1 springs and retainers, notch the heads to accept the GM roller rockers from the 96+ 3100 heads, plane them for a little more comp, and get them ported as much as you can afford. If you're not experienced in porting, get them done by a professional.....it's expensive, but worth it.

no it won't help cause the valve job that they have allready is all you need.

Hmm...never heard that before. All I know is I have it done to my 3.1 MPFI heads, and the set of 3400 turbo heads I just sent out have it done as well. THe seats were too thin to do 5 angle though.
