I can't wait to see dyno results from this swap. I was going to get a P&P 3400 upper & lower intake w/62mm TB but now I want to do a 3500 plenum swap. This fits under a stock 99+ Grand Am hood, right?

I'm interested in seeing dyno results from this too. Has anyone figured out what the actual advantage of this piece is, since I read the actual ports are smaller than the 3400 UIM unless you port them out properly? Is it increased air volume in the plenum?'97 Grand Prix GT 3800 (sold)

Unfortunately the test car we were wanting to use for dyno comparisons had 10 degrees KR and a fueling issue that I wasn't able to get fixed in time. Hopefully I can do some testing on a fiero 3400 that is stock once I get it tuned (OBD1).
Shorter runner length (none in the plenum), larger plenum area though im not sure how much, TB extension to the center of the plenum for more even air distribution. Each flow across the ports, which is the same as the old small port 3100 and the 2000+ 3400 (older 3400s have uneven flow from the plenum design), larger throttlebody opening to accept a 65mm TB without work. Only negative is it needs to be ported first but thats not a difficult job. I charge 50 to do it, 15 to modify the TB neck to clear the fuel pressure regulator.Ben

yeah, I was just reading about his tuning problems over on the DHP site.
I might decide to get one of these someday, but it will probably be much more difficult to install for me because of the SC setup. Might have to wait until I'm ready to get an intercooler, when I wouldn't need the intake manifold to line up perfectly with the SC outlet anymore.'97 Grand Prix GT 3800 (sold)

That would be the EGR mount. No need for it since I don't have my EGR. More hacking to come

A few more pictures. All remaining EGR mounting removed, along with the duct work. Two holes to be welded, on the side and bottom:

A pic facing towards the TB opening. Showing when Ben was referring to earlier in this thread (or another), how the neck extends into the plenum, and opens up about half way:
