i'm trying to figure out what cam is in my 94 Z24 3.1. i've been told it's the same as the turbo GP. which is 196/202, .395/.410 LSA109, i've also been told it's 184/194, .365/.395 LSA 109. which is correct if either? thanks

Pop the V-cover and slap a dial indicator on the pushrod

At least you will know the lift

good idea. it's a start, but still won't know duration for sure. man, why is it so tough? same with torque capacity for the 125C. can't find info for that either.

If you have a degree wheel you can measure duration with the cam in the engine. However with the FWD configuration it will be hard to read the wheel.

When measuring the lift be sure to pop the rocker off so the lifter plunger is not pushing against spring pressure and collapsing.

yeah, i just talked to another guy and he knows a couple of other people that have em. he said it'll step off with authority and keep climbing up to about 6300. that sounds great to me! i just wonder if i'll have more low end than the stock set up.

I have a custom grind cam with similar specs to the 272, but more directed for a turbo setup, and my bottom end is uglyness, really bad until 2500 when the turbo kicks in. However, it can pull to 6500 no problem.

i wouldn't mind sacrificing bottom end power, since traction is going to be an issue with boost
