this way its also easier to change jet sizes. i suppose you could put them right on the UIM but if i ever wanted to get rid of the unit it would be an easy bolt in for anyone else with large port runners, with only things needed being 60mm bolts and another gasket.
more then that though, i didnt like the angle that the nozzles would have had to sit, to get the right spray angle, if they were in the uim.got zap-straps?

They were designed from a CMM of the actual lower manifold, so they will be alot more accurate than trying to go from a scanner.-Brad-
