  • OBD II 5spd

OK, I was on the oldsmobile website and on the 2004 alero gx you can get an optional 5spd...it doesn't quite say wheather u can get it with the 3.4 or not. Anyone know what tranny it is and if it can be used on the 60v6?

    RE: OBD II 5spd

the alero was offered with the 2.2l ecotec with 4 speed auto (4t40e) or 5 speed (getrag). the 3.4l was only offered with the 4 speed auto (4t45e)

GM offered nothing FWD with OBD-II, V6, and 5spd. Sorry.

You could either trick an older OBD-II ecm into thinking one is there (not sure how, but I bet there's some Fiero guys that know how to do it) or do like I did and convert back to OBD-I
