hey all, im looking for some very specific information.
I recently worked on a 95 or 96 skylark doing the timing chain housing gasket. I saw the crank position sensor located on the harmonic ballancer. I hear its a secondary to a 7x sensor in the block. Can this be confirmed. Also, the 3 wire plug that comes out of it, where does this connect to coil packs or ecm?
Im looking into making an external crank trigger to allow me to run dohc's on my 2.8 block. It will also be helpful to run a forged crank in a older block with no boss for a crank position sensor.
Thanks.
