Franz, get Gen III heads already man :P

You could test out the harland sharps on the Gen III heads and intakes. I was looking at their 1.65 :1 ratio SBC rockers... got me thinking a little bit.

    Good work!

Hope to see you out on the track next summer!

Thanks Mars, and actually, I've got a set of Gen III's in the garage, but they're being saved for my future project car. And if things go well, I may have that car soon. :P

does the polishing prevent the oil from sticking as easily, and/or strengthen them?

It helps prevent cracks from having a place to form, and yes, it helps shed the oil that is flying around.

its just removes forging lines- any sharp point is a stress point

think about when you crease a piece of paper... its more likely to tear on the crease right? well sharp corners and forging/casting lines have pretty much the same affect, they weaken the material by creating stress points

                hope that helps

Looks nice! Should get them cryo treated after they're all balanced out.

One of these days, I'm going to pull my engine (again) and have the internals built. It's about the only thing left, but gonna have to wait until I have my own garage. Just a dream until then...
