1)1 Red flex hose from Pep Boys in the performance section. 20.00
2)2 3 inch I.D. muffler adapters from Autozone. 3.00
3)1 2 pack of 3-3.5 inch hose clamps 3.00
4)1 El cheapo cone filter 30.00?
+_______
That is $4.00/1 HP $56.00
1)Apply oil on filter completely.
2)Unbolt wheelwell inside cover.
3)Fit 3" adapter inside OE rubber intake. It will take a bit of effort since the adapter is oversized.
4)Tighten hose clamp.
5)Fit the red flex hose to the adapter and run the hose down behind the battery into the hole. Pull hose from the inside wheel well.
6)Fit the cone filter to the hose via the other adapter.
7) Put the inside cover back and the filter will sit in place.
I ran my Beretta on the freeway, 70-75 degrees outside. It picked up alot of power. I caught up to a Bonnevile up to 110 mph like nothing.
5 horsepower for the filter and probably 5-10 for the cold air.
