  • What injectors for my 1995 L32?

Hey guys, this is my first post on this board. I am really into the L32's and my 95 camaro. My question is, with my mods (GMPP cam, headers, exhaust, UD pulley, coils, intake) would I benefit alot from switching to better injectors? I obviously have the stock 16 pounders, but was thinking about trying out the 19lb 3800 injectors. Also, one thing to consider, I dont know how this would effect anything, but because of that cam, my car batch-fires, and is MPFI right now. I know its not the best thing, I am looking to change the cam once again soon, but not yet, dont have time/money. TIA,

Without modding the PCM, its not always best to try to upgrade injectors. If you put in larger injectors, the PCM will think you still have the stockers in and base all of the fueling tables off of those values. Will it work? Sure... Will it work good? Maybe... Will you get the max out of injectors you just spent $$$ on? Not even close.

But just bumping up from 16 to 19, they might be close enough that you won't have too many issues. But if you go much higher than that, you will be doing more damage than good.

I would say that if you're not having a problem with running lean then you probably would be just fine leaving the stock injectors in there.
