  • 3100 on nitrous

Thought you guys might like to know what nitrous will do to a 3100. it is a 94 gp and it ran consitent 16.30's with some minor mods. With a 50-shot the fastest pass has been a 14.96. He has the 75-shot in now but hasn't made it to the track yet. The kit he used is the nitrous express main line kit and it sells for around $420 and took about 4-5 hours to install. it impressed the hell out of me.

I see your location says Toledo. I'm assuming he's in the same area? What track do you guys go to?

Also, what year is the 3100? Is it the stock motor, or has he done a swap to a newer Gen III motor?

      3100's are gen 3 motors.

It's the stock motor with a bigger TB and an exhaust. We usually run at milan and sometimes norwalk.

Hmm.... may have to get up off my lazy duff and head up there sometime. I'm kinda scrambling to get the Cavalier wired up so it can head to Norwalk on Oct. 14th. But it's not lookin like that's gonna happen.

                      Really?

For one that is N/A with nitrous. maybe

There is turbo kits for the new GPs that get them into 11s

and the old 89 and 90 turbo GPs that are in the thirteens.

I am pretty sure he was talking about 3100 gp. Not a tgp or 97+. I know that it is one of the fastest n\a 3100's

We don't consider a 75-shot of nitrous NA, therefore its not one of the fastest NA GPs.
