I used those carbide burr bits when I ported my 2.4 head, they sure do work fast. I dont have the control and paitence to get my work looking that good. Thats awesome stuff there.

Sorry if the truth hurts but those pics did suck and so did your port work from what I could tell from the out of focus and low light pics.

The McCrays are a port job as well as 614streets. Not what you did.

you brake out of the 15's yet with your new 2.8 and "ported heads" and hi flowing carb intake? Bwahahaha

Oh hell yeah. its amazing how quick you can burn through alum with those things.

I've done a heap of 2.4L heads too. I should have pics somewhere? of the ones I've done.

        Thanks.

WD-40. Then grind on something you don't care about for a second. I use ginders grease from eastwoodco.com, but have heard many people use a bucket of WD-40 to dip the cutters in as they start to get clogged.

Damn I was just going to say the same thing! I use GM penetrating Fluid (wd-40 type fluid) works like a charm for keeping them unplugged.

I even find Ben that just spraying the wd40 on and going back to cutting most of the time takes it out, Otherwise I just give the carbide a quick touch while in use to a piece of steel and it shakes them loose.
