ok, i have a few questions regarding the 3x00 hybrid swap onto my 2.8 block.
edit:red=answered
edit:green=new question
[1] is the 2.8 piston height different that 3x00 piston hieght
yes, but it does not protrude out past the deck height of the block
[1a]if i put the head on, am i going to have to worry about my lift
im running a edit 440 lift edit
[2] can i use the copper "older style" .040 head gaskets(compared to gen2/3 .060) with my set up?
id really like the increase in compression
yes, it will raise your compression ratio aprox .3 to .4
[3] im going to put the 3x00 1.6 roller rockers on
[3a] are the rockers adjustable?
no, adjustment are made with pushrod lenght
[3b] and do i have to worry about pushrod lenght?
your adjustments are made at the pushrod, measurment is critical fop proper preload
[4]how do i measure my pushrod lenght to get proper preload?
thanks in advance
