  • Started engine & head work

Finally got some time to rip my heads down, and started polishing the valves. Here's the intake and exhaust from cylinder 2.

Nothing too exciting, but it's taken me months to get this far, so just thought I'd share.
    Later,

Thanks guys, and sorry for the delay. I wasn't getting updates via email for some reason.
I haven't made it to the track this year at all. Been so busy with work, it's just nuts right now.
Car definately won't be running this year. It's gonna be a long process because I don't want to compromise on anything I don't absolutely have to. And as we all know, less compromise equals more cash.
And sorry for the pics not working. Should be fixed now.
And Mars, I'll let you know if I get a chance to hit the track, though I'll only be watching for now.

Thanks guys, and Luis, I've been in your neck of the woods ALOT lately. Just opened a new store at Sheppard and Brimley in Scarborough. Been practically living there for the last 3 weeks.

Got the heads back from the machine shop, and polished the combustion chambers and exhaust ports.
Didn't take off much in the ports, just smoothened them up, since they were already ported years ago.

I've thought about it, but with everything else I need, I want to save money where I can.
The SS valves I believe are lighter, but I like doing things myself rather than just buy everything.
