How long will it take for the delta flow to fully break in? its gettin louder each day lol

it's all metal! how can it break in?! you'd have to have a lot of carbon to change the tone. how is the cab resonance? low, med, loud?Andy

yes, flowmaster's have to break in. I had a 40 on my cav for quite a while, but it got too loud for me. So i replaced it with a flowmaster delta 50, and its taken about 2 weeks to break in. Once you put about 1000km onto it, itll we stay the same tone.

call it what you will, but Flowmaster's will keep changing tone, getting progressively louder & deeper for about the first 1000km you put on them. Ive had 2 and they have both done the same thing. Also everyone i know who's had flowmaster's will say the same thing.

i put a muffler on my 02 lancer and it sounded a little raspy when i first got it, about 2-3 weeks later though it mellowed out some and sounded pretty good.
my dynomax bullet on my truck also got a lower tone and louder as i put more miles on it. i like it though...sounds very hot roddish- Rich - Hey Ya\'ll watch This
