okay here we go, I know about the spinning the pushrod til it gets some resistance half turn bla bla bla. The question is do the lifters need to be drained or adjust them after the motor has been run and the lifters are pumped cause I can,t seem to understand how I turn the nut on the rocker make it all tight and then the lifter drains a bit it's all loose again. So even though I believe I know I need some input as to yes they need to be drained or no dumb ass they don,t. This is driving me crazy if theres a 1 in a 1,000,000 chance of screwing up I'll find it and murphy's all over me right now please help!

Release all the nuts right off before you start. Give it a couple minutes. The spring in the lifter will push the cup to the top. Now do your adjustment procedure. Add 1 turn for thoes studs I sent you they have a very fine thread. If they are loose after a few minutes dont worry about it. Once the engine strats you will be golden if you did it right.

if it's the 3.1/2.8 it's supposed to be untill pushrod has resistance to spinning then add 1.5 turns. i think i have one turn cause i thought 1.5 was too much , but the car has had 2 years of driving and everything's just fine!Andy
