sappy, im not here to sell you my products. however, saying that your work is better than mine because you spend more time on yours is quite the statement. you have your methods, i have mine. im sorry i found a much quicker one.

i saw the pictures on your store, they do look nice i will give you that, however, i can provide pics of the some intakes ive done and they appear to look just the same to me and everyone else that has seen both intakes.

you should know, its not that hard to port these intakes on the 3x00 engines. by the way, you also stated you go 2-3 inches into the arm/port, i easily do 4-5" worth of porting in each runner in the same "funnel" mannor your do.



look guys, im sorry this has turned into this, there are are few other sites that didnt turn into this and actually have positive feedback (granted there is some in this post).

it boils down to this.... the customer. if the customer wants sappy's intakes, fine, im sure his products are top notch. if a customer wants to pay less, thats what im hear for. i provide a product that is overcharged by many sites, including this one.

the one thing i will say about you sappy, since you seem to think you have a good judgement of my business practices....

Before I end this, I do want to thank everyone for helping this site grow over the years, and I hope that I can help our aftermarket quality go up. Not only that, but help eliminate the insane prices other companies have gotten away with over the years do to lack of competition.

What are you comparing between Mike and Ben? Mike has 3x00 heads, Ben has DOHC heads. The 3x00 intakes are the exact same cost, execpt Ben splits his core charge up between the 2 where Mike combines everything and makes it $10 cheaper on the core.

I think Ben was mainly referring to sites such as RSM and the other one (that I can't think of anymore) that pretty much doesn't exist anymore.

actually brad, ben has on his stores site that he offers the upper and lower intakes for the 3x00. and he is as expensive or more expensive than all the other competitors. (i do not count core charges since they are not considered part of the final price once the entire transaction is done)

and im not refering to the DOHC engines.

Is your company registered with your state and the government? Are you paying taxes? Like I said, 150 is not enough money for me to port an upper and lower, especially when you consider uncle sam is taking part of that.

The time for me to complain about how other companies work is in the past. I decided to do something about it instead of going on forums and complaining to everyone. I also would have expected anyone posting on this site about their company to at least know better than to put down the business that is directly affiliated with this site.

Yeah, I already noted that. But was Mike's store up when Ben first put his store up? So maybe Mike has his price set equal to Ben's to be competitive.

One thing I find interesting about this whole thing is you advertise on here, yet I haven't seen any advertisement for your store on MyMonte, which you have told me time and time again is "your" forum, like this is "my" forum. So why aren't you advertising where all of your freinds are? Seems kind of odd to me... I understand why you aren't advertising on GAGT, cause you actually have to pay to do it. And how could you offer cheap services when you might have to fork out some cash for advertising.

To correct myself, I see you did post on MM in the General Area. And by the title of the thread, unless someone reads all the threads or all YOUR threads, you wouldn't know about it. Yet on here, you post it in the Pushrod Performance section.

And as Froggx has stated, you need to teach your business partner to try to be somewhat professional. Its one thing to be unprofessional here by not spelling correctly and not knowing how to use puncuation, etc... But when talking to potential customers on your own forum, it would make me kind of leary. Maybe its just me...

I think the products speak for them self! And the prices only sweeten the deal! We have feedback that shows the products are worth the money, By far!
I'm at no point going to say I'm an english teacher. Nor will I be the one to point out someone spelt something wrong, or used the wrong puncuation. That is not my concern! My concern is bringing the best product for the cost! And I sleep at night knowing we achived this!
But if that is what you find needs to be pointed out! I will take it under consideration!

a Sole Proprietorship without employees do not need a tax id. thanks. i pay for the store/website and i "rent" the tools from a buddy. if he decides to lend a hand in the advertisement and actual process of making the items as a favor, that means he is not a partner or an employee. its all about how you word your "business" only corporations and legal partnerships need a tax id.

so basically, the way i can set this business up, i wont need a tax id since i will have to fill my taxes and pay self employment taxes and since this is NOT my main income


and according to the gov't, my activities could be considered a hobby because evidently, according to you, you cant seem to think how i make a profit, well, any profits that is made generally is spent on bills assosiated with having my "hobby"

so nice try Ben for trying to make me look like i am doing this illegally.


and by the way, i see nothing wrong with the way funky wrote his post. and since when is this a freaking Typing 101 class or a Spelling class. no one is perfect, and if your that critical of how a person spells instead of the work they do, then spend your money with ben.


and brad, like you said yourself, mymonte is my home, and yes i did post on that forum, and if you visited that forum enough, you would relize that there is a thing called a "message preview" and 99% of the people on that site us it. basically you put your cursor over the title of the message in the root forum, and it shows you the first 2-4 lines of the message without having to click it. just like gagt.com.

and actually, i am planning on working on gagt and getting a banner put up there. so please, try not to assume things of me. thats where your wrong.

You are too hostile to be posting on this site. I asked fair honest questions and you take offense and make a huge deal of it. I am not one to post on other sites about how poor the other companies are. Its not how I handle business and its not what im going to tolerate from others on this site. If you want to keep posting about your products, you can pay us advertising fees. This only deals with your business because you have attacked me on my own site. $50 a month to insult my company on this site, thats the fee.

Any more posts from either germ or funky and this thread is deleted. You can help the community all you want on here, but im not turning this site into a flame fest because I run a business now. I didn't tolerate this crap before, so now that the stakes are higher, im certainly not tolerating it now.
