Does anybody know where I can get an aluminum single underdrive pulley (i.e. one sheave) for a 3.4L pushrod motor? I have a pretty minimalist setup - a water pump and an alternator. No PS, AC, or anything else.
Right now I'm running a stock steel pulley that came from an early 80s Citation 2.8L. It is just less than the diameter of the damper by about 1/4". It originally had 2 sheaves and I took one off in a lathe. Maybe that's another way to go? Buy a 2 sheave and cut one off?
Are there different choices of diameter? Is there much of a power gain from underdriving?
Thanks.
