Does anyone know on the Gen II motors which pushrods are the longer ones? Intake or Exhaust? I just installed my new cam, rockers and pushrods and the rocker nuts keep backing off. This is the 7th time its happened. Im thinking I have a pushrod mixed up but dont remember which is longer. Thanks

Get new nuts. It is a common problem with the prevailing torque nuts (Also known as Stover nuts) once they are used they *should* be replaced. Often you can get away with out replacing them. But in this case it looks like you can't.1993 EXT. CAB, 3.4L V6 TBI, 5spd manual. Sonoma

I'm Farly Certen that the Gen II's are the same as the Gen III's, where as an exhaust pushrod mixed up with an intake pushrod will result in a bent intake valve.
The exhaust pushrods are 6 inches and the Intake are 5.75 if i'm not Mistaken.
The order is as fallows, Exhaust ports towards you E I I E I E.2006 G6 GTP MT6
