A few years ago I read an article on performance development of the 60* V6 that General Motors funded at Katech. I am looking for a reference to the article... I spoke with someone at Katech who remembered it but... Can anyone help?? --Carter

Dunno about that particular article, but, while searching, I found this. (I'm looking at the "Electric Supercharger" http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums...t=34635&page=2 However, if you search the site, I am sure this is where it came from.If you are driving a Chevy, everything else, is just a blur. 3.4 Carbon Footprint.

Re: RE: Katech V6 development article
[quote="v6h.o."]I haven't seen it before.
GM threw around some development money right when the engine was introduced--this is an old article. As I remember, it had a lot of info on extensive intake manifold modifications [before any aftermarket stuff was available] and exhaust configuration tests. And now I can't find it.

RE: Re: RE: Katech V6 development article
Is this the article that is posted over on thirdgen.org? It is basically a more in-depth version of what is available in the latest GM Power Manual.

Here is the thread on thirdgen.org with the article: http://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/show...ighlight=bible It appears to be an earlier version of the Power Manual with lots more pictures and details than the latest.

Thats great! I've got soemthing similar but with less content in one of my old Power Books from the early 90's. Its sad though but I got my shipment of the '05 GMPP books at work there are almost no 60 degree parts in there besides the 12363215 valve springs and retainers and a couple of other things. Thats all.
