62mm throttle body JBP !!!!!!!!!!

hi! i need some info about this product (62mm throttle body JBP)i buy one at the begining of january! i finaly recieve it by the beginig of april! but the things that i have difficulty to accept is the fact that... my new 62mm TB's from J-body performance have a bore of 52mm and he look like a 2.8 3.1 original TB's!!!!!!!!! :wtf1: so i want to know if somebody buy this parts and if yes what its look like ...and the bore is 62mm diameter or just 52 like the one i receive??????

Are your heads ported and polished?
If no, you do not need a 62mm TB. You won't see any gains.

Yeah I really don't understand why people don't contact the shop, manufacturer, store, etc, with any issues or concerns that they have about a product or service that they have received. Burger King gave me the wrong order...what am I going to do, bitch about it on here or go back to the restaurant and take care of it. Not being specific to one person just generalizing as I have seen it quite a bit on various boards in the past few months. Anyways measure up the unit and check the overall diameter of the opening. And yeah contact JBP and i'm sure they will take care of you with whatever needs to be done or straightend out.

the pic jbp shows is a completly different tb than stock carved out of a solid chunk of aluminum. the pics done look anything like the stock one.

call em up and talk to them.

JBP is a fucking joke. They have the worst service I have ever seen and the employees are morons.

They sell Crane Gold Race rockers for GenIII yet mention NOTHING about the modifications needed to make em work.

This issue doesn't suprise me. Neither does the increadible length of time it took you to get the part.

If they didn't have the corner on the J-Body market by being the only ones to sell these parts there is no way they would still be in buisness.

I have a 62mm billet TB here for sale for 200. You have to swap your linkage in, and modify the shaft (die grinder) to accept the throttle plate. I have 2 left, but only 1 here. If someone wants it and sends me a TB to swap the parts onto and modify the shaft, I can do that for 10 bucks.

I won't comment on JBP too much, but yes, their history isn't very good. Im surprised they sent you a stock TB though, that can't even be hard to look at and tell its not even right. Definetly contact them.

Yeah, they aren't the greatest, and charge WAY up the ass. (like I mean, bring vaseline if you wanna buy something), But they make money anyways, so kudos to them.

There's a post on V6z24 about a shift kit that they mark up 300% and re-sell to customers, thats kinda wrong, but hey, as long as ppl are dumb enough to purchase it, then let them do it I say.

and the excuses are terrable........maybe cause there only open from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM lol

I agree that J-body performance has some terrible turnaround times but I won't badmouth their customer service at all. When I dealt with them through email I always had a response the next day. Also, I ended up asking for a refund in the end since after 4 months of waiting I had seen no sign of progress, and my card had been refilled the very next day as well. So from my experience as long as you have 2 years to wait around they did alright.

Odd to hear about a TB smaller than what some of the motors come stock with though.

Like Manapart. I think thise are two people buinesses run inside a shed or garage. Their ideas, parts are great..but they don't know how to organize their buisness..or know anything about it. Sending you a stock TB back unmoded just sounds like stupidity to me. Thats just lazyness to me..if they cain't even see that they boxed the wrong TB..or read the orderform...if they even have one. Make yourself heard.
