looks like its kind of a special bolt. the threads are 12mm, but it needs like a 15mm or so shoulder. i found some pipe that takes up 99% of the space i need to fill, there is a minute wobble, i'm going to take it back off, and shorten the pipe since i cut it too long, right now the spacer i made holds the washer off the bearing. after i shorten it the washer should press the inner bearing race againt the timing cover and take care of the wobble. and the remaing <1mm of slack will just be lateral, if it can still move. or i can just use a spot of weld to join the pipe to the bolt, it wont move anymore after that.

i put that number above into gmpd and it came up with a waterpump pulley

      I hate change...

i bought '87 Z ps lines (pressure and return from cooler), looks like they changed the PS pump for the 3.1's. the slip nut or whatevr you call it on the pressure line is smaller on the 3.1, so my '87 Z line wont screw in. should i just go ahead and get a 87 ps pump, or would it be safe to just get the ps line from the 3.1 Z?

the pulley is on right this time. it plays the same as the tensioner, so i'm happy with it. just needs the oilpan put back on, minus the dent. and wire in the crank sensor, and change the tps connector, installation, swap in the '90 Z ecu, and turn the key. because i suck, and i'm lazy, and a loser, that should happen in april.
