Do ford and Gm use the same sensors?
I know that they both use 5 volts for the tps but have no idea
if they have the same resistence
also does GM make a throttle body that has the iac mounted on the side
    instead of the bottom
    I'm fighting a space issue

RE: tps and iac sensors on GM and Ford throttle bodies

From my understanding, the voltage of the ford TPS is off by about .004v or something at idle, but would still be in the range designated for idle by the gmpcm, and as you accelerate it goes across the same range as the GM one would. If this is wrong someone correct me.

I bench tested this with a power supply, and yup, it's true, it's true.

There's a post in the "swaps" section about an IAC adapter thing that is in the works. Go take a peek.
