Just completed building a EGR Restrictor plate for my truck. I got an improvement in throttle response and it doesn't hesitate like it use to. I talked to the engine dude who rebuilt my engine and he says it won't hurt anything to run the resrictor plate, just to watch my plugs for carbon build up and if that happens to run one heat range hotter.
