    There is no 60/6 3.0L.....that much is correct, but the block could definitely be bored to 3.0, just consider this....a 3.1L is a stroked 2.8, and a 3.4 is a bored 3.1, and they all use the same block, so considering that, its good for at least .3l displacement gain from bore.....

      Not true. The 3.4 block has more meat on it to allow for the larger bore size.

        ...and this thread is over 4 years old. I'm sure this guy has either finished this project already, or decided not to do it and moved on. I don't think he needed any more input.

          ha. no wonder nobody said anything about 2.8 internals in a 3x00 block LOL.

Keeping their Engine Blocks from Over-Heating is the LEAST of their problems... then again...they don't call Swedes "Square Heads" for nuthin'... Maybe the Swedes get that nickname because the also fill their "Heads" with 'concrete fill' as well as their " Blocks"... LOL
