Header Flanges

For you guys with the older heads (Non D shaped ports), here is a set of flanges. I noticed some prices out there for others (ouch).

In terms of getting flanges for the newer generation 3.4 heads I have a feeling he will be offering them in the semi-near future. (He has to finish mine first). Here is the drawrings I made:

Big difference is 1 5/8 (1.652 I think) holes for the primaries... If anyone has access to a plasma table that takes a CAD file, I'd be very interested in your turnaround time. You'll wanna delete the holes for the bolts tho perhaps.

The guy above does it in more of an "old school" way with a plasma cutter, and a layout...

In the meantime I found a local company with a Plasma table that cut these out of 3/8 mild for a whopping $40.00... Here are the pics:

The gasket in the pictures are one of the gaskets from my TOG headers I sold off on eBay. Although it is a bit hard to tell, there is a tad more meat around the primaries than TOG flanges. The updated drawings for the plasma table are:

They include "lead in" markings that table operator can select so the plasma cutter will not "bite into" the actual flange area when it begins cutting. Also note that the bolt holes have been removed... Use one the other dxf as a template...

Speaking of gaskets, I got a small sheet of the Mr. Gasket Ultra Seal (about 1/16" thick). Looks like it has a metal mesh inside. Any of your Turbo guys use this?

Finally, does anyone have a trashed 3.4 aluminum (late model) head (Screwed valves, stripped plug holes, etc..)? I'd prefer to have a head to bolt these things to for drilling the holes, welding on the primaries, etc. If so, please give me a shout!
