  • 3.4L Exhaust question

i just was wondering if anybody had any suggestions on which type of exhaust to go with on the 3.4L. I have a 2000 monte carlo ls, im looking for a true dual catback exhaust, some guy told me they dont make "true duals" for the ls, they fabricate it so really its only one, he drove a ford, so i told him go piss him self , but im leaning towards flowmaster, any suggestions, i appreciate it.

    RE: 3.4L Exhaust question

They don't make true duals. Its just a Y at the back of the car going to 2 mufflers.

I have Flowmaster and I love it. 50 series, so its not too loud, but still has a nice growl to it. Definately not ricey.

thanks for the suggestion, thats good that the 50 series doesn't sound ricey, you gotta hate that rice sound when your driving down the highway. one more thing, about the 50 series, do you recommend just the basic flowmasters, or the delta flow's, are they way more expensive?

again, thanks for the suggestions, i appreciate it

true duels on an LS? your car wold run like crap, less restrictive is not always best.
i would just go with a y pipe, and have it coming out from the sides

If you really want a badass exhaust that will give you awesome gains as well as a mean sound, look up MilzyZ34 on MyMonte.com

Post in the 3100/3400 section about wanting an exhaust and you'll be pointed in the right direction.

I got awesome top end gains when I put mine on, couldn't be happier
