old egr as in the fiero egr? or the 95 monte egr? that peice almost looks like the old vacuum egr bolts to the edge and then adpts it to the new plenum. did you ask the guy who made it?
If you aren't friends with a liar, you aren't friends with anyone.

i think that egr adaptor is to adapt a gen 2 egr to a 2000+ 3x00 intake. this would be fore people doing 3x00 swaps into cars that came with a gen 2 motor, and are still using the gen 2 ecm.

That adaptor plate is for the digital EGR, which was used from 1990 to 1995.

GenII 660s used both a vacuum EGR (1987 to 1989) and the digital EGR.

Blocking off is not an option for some of us, where emissins equipment must be retained, or we like out ping free, fuel efficiant, and environmentally side of things. Since, well, it has yet to be proven that disabiling the EGR will increase overall power made. I put down over 200 HP to the rear wheels, over 270 ft/lbs, with full emisions equipment, EGR, Cat, PCV, breather, etc. So keep the emissions equipment, it doesn't hurt performance.

I have a 95 monte carlo 3100 engine that I am putting a 2000+ topend on. I want to use the digital EGR instead of the Linear unit because I am use a OBDI 7730 computer to control the engine when it gets put into my 88 coupe. I have spoken with the designer of the unit and it will work for my application. It just took a while to get a response and this is what is holding up the finishing of the build and swap. 60 bucks shipped is a great price I think. Cant wait to get it and finish the job.
