I cut up a set of LX9 heads, I figured the pictures could be useful, if you would like to see something specific, let me know.
"I am not what you so glibly call to be a civilized man. I have broken with society for reasons which I alone am able to appreciate. I am therefore not subject to it's stupid laws, and I ask you to never allude to them in my presence again."
What is known of the port configurations of the LX9 (above) vs. the LZ4/LZ9 heads? The intake ports at the manifold face are different, but below that, what, if any, differences?

they are completely different.

The exhaust ports are basically identical. I wouldn't say they are completely different on the intake either. Both splayed valve with the same guide location/angle, and raised ports like the LX9. Bigger port, wider at top than bottom, but otherwise, id say its more similar than different.

Have you flow tested the LZx style? I looked for a thread, but did not find one.
I uploaded some a long time ago but I don't know where exactly. I also have the flow with the different upper intakes on it. I should just have that in the articles for this site, so ill work on that and post a link.
