I can't remember off the top of my head, but I want to say that the newer cranks have larger journals than the aluminum block. So in order to make it work, you'd have to grind down the crank to match the block mains.-Brad-

The LZ4 & LZ9 upped the rod journal size from 2.000 to 2.250 to match the 4.3 V6. I think the earliest 2.8's had smaller mains, but I thought that the BowTie block had the later mains.
Also, did you notice that the crankshaft supplier is looking for orders up to 4000 units/month?Current:
