  • Got my 3400 fuel rail yesterday................

    Ok,so my fuelrail came UPS yesterday(thanks Ben)how hard will it be to wire this into my OBD1 harness?Can I just swap the injection harness from the 3.1? Or change the plug or what???

    Put the 3.1L or 2.8L injectors in the 3400 rail. No re wiring required.
    1993 EXT. CAB, 3.4L V6 TBI, 5spd manual. Sonoma

      I compared the 3.1 rail to the 3400 one lastnite,and I take it you ment put the 3.1 injectors in with the injection harness as well?

        Yeah, I think that's what he meant. Just use the rail from the 3400 and use everything else from the 3.1L (injectors and harness). You'll need the FPR from the 3400 as well.

          Yea the only reason you need the 3X00 rail is because of the position of the holes in the 3X00 manifold. However you are still using an OBDI MPFI computer. So just swap the old injectors right over and everything will be as it used to be with the exception of the new position of the injectors.

          As for the fuel pressure regulator. I would goto Caspers and get their adjustable one.
