3400 swap into a 5 speed 4 cylinder sunbird

since i crashed my monte and sold it i want to find new car that i can mod that has or can have a 3100/3400 motor. I really want to find an old sunbird thats a 5 speed and has the 3.1 in it. however around here they are pretty rare and there are way more 4 cylinder ones then there are 3.1 sunbirds. My question how hard would it be to swap a 3400 into a sunbird that hasa 4cylinder and a 5 speed in it? I also would like to make the car odbII if possible but if its not than o well. thanks

Not sure about wiring issues, but you will HAVE to get a V6 manual tranny for it. The bellhousings on the 4 banger, and the V6 are TOTALLY different.

yeah i think the 4 cylinder were using an isuzu tranny , when V6 where using Muncie
