You can get 1.6 rockers, but thats as big as they go. But most of the 3X00's had 1.6's from the factory anyways.

i know guys have used sbc roller rockers (they are pretty well the same). they make them from break in 1.3:1, 1.52:1, 1.6:1 and even 1.7:1. im not sure if its possible, but you may be able to use 1.7:1 rockers.

does it matter on the sbc chevy size or just any 1.7 roller rocker for a sbc

It matters. Old 660's with ball picot rockers could use any SBC rocker in combination witht eh stock pivot ball and go from there. Also any small block stud mounted rocker can be used when you get to correct conversion studs.

But pushing the ratio limits may get you into valvetrain geometry and clearance issues. On 3400 you should be able to bump to a 1.7. But on a gen I or II jumping from 1.5 to 1.7 needs some care
