Unless you run the G-Tech on the exact same run you are comparing at the drag strip to, it doesn't count...tire pressure and ditching the spare/jack can have a big impact on your times, as well as weather conditions.

I realize that. But on my high 13 run, I also had my spare tire and jack in the car, and was running a lot more tire pressure then I would've at the track, and weather conditions could've been better than that too, and I had a lot of gas in the car, etc.... I know a real timeslip is all that really matters, thats why I tell people straight out, that my car is capable of 13's, I just haven't done it at the track yet (mostly 'cause I haven't been to the track with this setup).
But I believe I said the g-tech isn't 100% accurate and I don't expect it to be. But it is within a few tenths.

WOW are those full race slicks or street/drag slicks. I didn't realize that kind of difference. mmm i was wanting to get the BFg street/drag but am waiting until spring since i can't use them. thats still a big difference. i thought maybe .3 gain. but thats almost a .8 better.

they are a full race slick. I got them used, I think they are meant to be used on a stock car and they don't have a wrinkle wall to them. they are alot shorter than the stock street tires which helps out alot with the FDR 20" tall vs. 24" tall street tire. they do hook good for what they are though best 60' was a 2.02 probably would have been better if the suspension was better.

With my 98 sunfire with a 3400 engine and my supercharger installed i raced a wrx with an intake. he bet me by a bumper but my other friend with a stock wrx i took him out by a car so if the wrx is running 14.4 sec in the 1/4 mile i should be low 14's. the charger was only pushing 3 psi so when i get my turbo installed hopefully here comes 13's with 7 psi.
I have a crap load of slips from when I bracket raced the car when it was an auto.
91' Beretta GT weighted in at 2690 with stripped trunk and half a tank
First best ofs were 16.1 at a sad 80-81mph on a 130k engine that was very tired. That engine had Ben's chip, custom intake, 62mm tb w/port matched plenum and polished upper runners, 2.5" downpipe and cat to 2.25" pipe and Borla muffler and tips. Have consistant slips of 2.2X 60 foots on semi warn all seasons
I replaced that engine with a NEW stock Gm crate. I ran it with no mods aside from exhaust. I had a bad coil and module at the time but ran the same 16.1 but at 84.5 with 2.2x 60's again.
Since then I can now add a FFP pulley and FFP dogbone and the best mod of all a Getrag 282 swap. I also have 17" Konigs which are 5lbs lighter each. The swap took off quite a bit of weight. I am guessing the car will do 15.3-15.5 at 86ish and 2.1 60's and can dip into the high 2500lbs with 1/4 tank. I will do the 3400 swap when my 3.1 hits over 50k and the warrenty runs out. Then I should be hitting 14.3's.
cracked crossover, cyl 5 misfiring, 89 oct (fucking gas station by the track sucked), and a blown head gasket, and 10 psi.
on the stock 195,000 mile tranny and a 3400 swap with polished TB and ported and polished intakes, and FFP UD pulley, and DHP Powertuner program to tune the PCM, and 42.5# injectors.
since then i have added ported heads, ls1 springs, a new and improved xover, and new graphite gaskets (copper is on the way), and hopefully a cutout for track use. oh yea, and 15 psi hopefully.
also have a tranny going in with a 3000 stall, LSD, and HOPEFULLY 3.73 gears.
im expecting low 13's this spring, and high 12's by the end of the season. :cross fingers:
