I doubt you'll get into the 13s. The Fieros with DOHC swaps are landing right at flat 14s, and that is with about 220hp, and the power curve of the DOHC. But definately expect low 14s, and who knows, maybe you can break that barrier.[/quote]

But arent the DOHC'c engines heavier? And most of them are going in the already heavier GT(fastback) models. The coupes are almost 200 lbs lighter out of the factory with the standard 2.8 so I should pickup some time with the notchback. Maybe I can get to the high 13's.

Yes they are, by about 50lbs or so. Most are going to be in the fastbacks(mine will be). You might be able to, it really is hard to say. I'm sure traction will be an issue as well.

You should get some 'Caltrax' style traction bars as they work great. My brother in his 3800 SII S-10 was having series traction issues with 245/50/16 tires so we made up some 'Caltrax' style traction bars for him. He went from a 2.5 without to a 2.0 with on street tires. I think you can pick up a set for around $150, but we just made our own.

Your formula will maybe see mid 14's...not mid 13's like stated earlier.

i guessed 15 because someone else with mods similar to mine ran around that time. Id rather say im slower than i really am than vice versa

I have a '90 Grand Prix STE Sedan w/3.1L Turbo. Mods in my sig. I have ran a best of 14.695 @ 94.49 at the track, but this was before my cam/topend/ud pulley. With the current setup, I have G-tech times reporting 13.9's, but that is untuned and with a 2.2 60'. With some tuning, larger fuel injectors, and some traction, I believe its a 13.6-13.7 second car, but thats just a guess.

However, I only have proof of a 14.695 at the time.

from what i hear those g-techs are pretty accurate usually only saying that your about a 1/10-2/10 of a second faster than you really are.

Well, it all depends on how well you calibrate it, and if you're on flat road, etc.. When the car was stock I pulled a 15.334 on the G-tech, but at the track I went 14.968 with the exact same setup. (except I dropped tire pressure a little and pulled out the spare tire & jack). But it is pretty close.
