  • Headers for J/N/L 3X00

There is a guy posting on beretta.net about fabrication of headers on a 89 GTU. He's doing a 3X00 top end swap more than likely. These headers would be of interest to the 94-98 N body, pre 94 J body(with 3X00 swap), 87-96 L body.

He posting prices of $300. I am going to help him get anything he needs to make these.

Has anyone made mass quanities of 3X00 flanges that are available for header and turbo applications? I think he has a source...but i am not sure.

I have been involved with the thread on Beretta.net a bit as well....he sounds like a decent guy that likes to do good work. Maybe something will get done.....

I am sending him heads. I also want extra exhaust flanges made up.

300 doesn't seem like very much to do a quality set.

No it does not. I can just keep my fingers crossed.

Geez, we're almost getting to a price that a cheap guy like me would pay!

Yeah but your going to want to purchase the steering rack heat deflectors and some wrap....a gasket set. And not to mention you might have to pay to install. $300 can turn to $700 quickly!

I would rather get them coated rather than wrapping them. If you don't wrap them right, you can do more harm to them than good. And you're throwing installation costs in there...... I'd be glad to pay $300 for headers when the competition with a similar set is $350-$600.

similar set...perhaps. Ill wait to see the design before I make any judgement on their worth.

I will never use a wrap on a header.
