  • 2.8 Rebuild Situation

Just got a engine from a wrecked late 80's olds gutlass, thought nothing of it and then soon realized these engines may be small but with canted valve aluminum heads with 28 cc chambers and thin rings they may have some slight performance potential, i dont have a car to put the engine in but i usually like to start with the engine anyway and im not a absolute beginner engine builder but what are some opinions on what i should do, i surely want some performance because like i said i believe even though small it has some potential to do so, as i understand the since it is a genII the factory aluminum heads are good and i enjoy and have acess to all the porting equipment ill need to get a good stab at the heads, is there any certain things i will need to know about changing cams, induction setups, rotating assembly, computer setups, ect any info is appreciated, thanks in advance.

how crazy do you want to get with it
my first suggestion would be to ditch teh gen 2 heads, intake, and exhaust manifolds get the newer gen 3 stuff regardless
and if you want port that
    I Like V660s
